Fågelsjö folkmuseum
Fågelsjö is a small village in the north-west part of the region. The village is in the area where many finnish settlers arrived in the 1700s. The village is known for its folkmuseum that is, for a good reason, called a "folkart temple".

The folkmuseum in Fågelsjö is a unique place if you want to see the northern swedish folk art in all its glory. The settlement was started by finnish immegrants and the last two people who lived there built a new house, called "the america-house", across the yard and locked up the old house with all its household goods.
