"Kalasfint" exhibition
The exhibition "Kalasfint" at the museum in Ljusdal showed some nice items made by local craftsmen and artists from the district of Hälsingland. The opening on the 4 of november was a happening with folkmusic, speeches and people.
The items were made in a designworkshop with professional artists during 2006. The project was called "Design in Hälsingland" (in a free translation).
My favourite items were the sheepskinrugs and -pillows by Lisa Johansson that have a very genuine and exclusive feeling of tradition not broken. If you walked into a set from "Lord of the rings" you could probably sneak in any of Lisa Johanssons things.

Bold colour on this vase in breathtaking orange (left). Small houses of wool by Maria Lindberg (middle). These dolls from wool became a nice picture, don´t you think? (right).
